Charlie & Reilly
I'll be honest...I never really thought of poodles as REAL dogs... I mean, you've seen how some get treated by their owners––shaved to look like lawn ornaments, always in the lap or being carried. Not to mention the yap factor. "What are you barking at ?!? Nothing! Your barking at nothing!" So, I was a bit leery when I was contacted by Katie in Colorado about doing a session for her mom and 2 poodles. Needless to say after meeting with Brenda (mom), Charles (poodle) and Reilly (also a poodle) I have changed my way of thinking.... they are not just true dogs but a couple of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet!

This is Charlie. He is 16 and blind and deaf, but followed us all over that day. Even though he couldn't see my camera, he knew how to work it!

This is Reilly who is 11 and loves treats so much that he would try to sneak in to my pockets to get some.

Every dog owner knows what this is... the toy depot!

MINE!!!

We really appreciate the kind words you said about our "boys".
I will give you full credit for the success in portraying our beloved pets as we see them. With Charlie's disabilities and Reilly's ability to smell food and focus on it at all cost, they posed a real challenge for you. You endeared them to you with your kind approach, playfulness and patient, gentle style. They are older, and frail and your pictures will give us lasting images of our sweet puppies.
Thank you for the gift of a lifetime.
Brenda
